The Virtual Dive Center is made up from Instructors from all certifying agencies who have at least 2 Professional Diving Qualifications and have certified more than 20 divers. So that you know if you decide to dive with us that you are going to be in safe hands.

The Virtual Dive Center was formed back in 1999 by a group of Independent Scuba Instructors who decide that we should embrace new technology and put the academic portion of the course on the Internet. The Instructor would be there to guide the student through the course.

The Online Scuba Training concept was launched by the VDC at the DEMA Dive Show back in 2001  in New Orleans. DEMA who has representatives from certifying  agencies sitting on the Board acknowledged that this was a new way of teaching Scuba diving. 

Over the last 7 years our Instructors have been teaching students diving this way as well as the Old Classroom Method bearing in mind that this style of teaching is not for everyone.

The time has come again to Re-invent the training materials so that we can catch up with technology once again. What we want to hear from you is, what do you want from the VDC as the new website will reflect this. We are hoping to make it as interactive as possible.
